Why take card payments on the day?
Is cash still King? Many people still believe it is. And for some that is still the case. However as an event organiser it is important to note that as of 2024, 15% of people carry no cash at all. (So that's potentially 15%, or 1 in 6, of potential customers that cannot attend your event if you only accept cash.) By 2020 only 17% of total transactions in the UK were made with Cash. And since 2015 a frightening 60% of physical banks have closed, which makes it harder for people to even get their hands on cash!
And of course, after your event, you have to find a bank that wants to handle the cash that you took on the gate!
If you want to welcome as many attendees as possible to your show, accepting card payments could be a simple, and cost effective way of doing so.
Ticketebo offers an on the day card processing solution, which includes all the equipment needed. (Our equipment can also record cash taken at each gate too, to help with your auditing.) We can also supply staff to train up your volunteers, and be on site throughout your event to help ensure everything runs smoothly.

No Technical Knowledge Required
People often tell us that they are nervous about moving to an online ticketing platform as they dont know where to start setting everything up, and getting their events live.
With Ticketebo there is no need to worry, it is very simple. We set everything up for you, so you really do not need any technical knowledge at all. All we need from you is a clear event brief for each event telling us the details that you want including on your pages (and we can help talk you through this too if needed). Once we have received this along with any artwork you have, we build your home page and event pages for you. Setup Ticket types, discount codes, set up your ticket scanning app, etc etc.
And of course we are always available to make changes should you need to move things around later.
Our pricing – it can be free for organisers
For paid events we don't have to charge the Event Organiser anything for online tickets! Our model is to charge the consumer a small Booking Fee of 4.95% (Inc VAT) of the ticket price (or a minimum of 75p) per order. Please note our charges are per order, NOT per ticket. This invariably means that our fees are often around half the price of most online ticket platforms in the UK today. Which is great for you, and your customers. (Please note this is based on payout after the event in one lump payment.)

Need ticket funds up front? Optional STRIPE Integration available
If required we can integrate with STRIPE, so if you need your ticket money in advance, we can link to your own STRIPE account for regular day by day payouts of your ticketing revenue. And we even give you a rebate of up to 20% of our booking fees after the event if you are using STRIPE as your payment gateway! Ask us how this works.

Barcoded ticketing & free entry scanning technology
Our Free Door Scan Manager & Ticketing App (for iPhone / iPad and Android devices) integrates seamlessly with the barcode embedded on all our tickets. Our entry scanning ticketing app enables rapid door entry to your live event from multiple synchronised devices; as well as detecting and alerting your entry personnel should a customer present a ticket which has already been fulfilled. Best of all this service is provided free of charge to our Organisers.
Alternatively, we can provide a manual list of ticket holders which you can manually check off at entry. And don't forget, we can also supply you with the staff, equipment and software 'on the door' if you need that additional service too. Contact us for more information and pricing.
Supporting registered charities
If you are a registered charity, through our Supporting Registered Charities program we will support your event by giving a 10% donation of all booking fees collected (via Ticketebo) from your event back to you.
