Captain Carl Whitewood of Ramsgate Salvation Army spent 30 years in the food industry before entering into full time ministry. From bakery, fruit processing, ice cream to chocolate – he is a food scientist and lover of great food.

Carl worked for Mondelez, Kraft Foods, Cadbury and with great pride Green & Black’s. He will take us on a journey spanning thousands of years, across the globe and unlock the secrets of chocolate –Theobroma cocoa- 'Cocoa - Food of the Gods'.

And of course, there will be lots of chocolate to taste.
