About Carterton Triple 10K
Starting in the beautiful village of Alvescot, the Carterton Triple 10K takes in some amazing trail paths incorporating the picturesque villages of Grafton and Little Clanfield.
So what are my options?
1: Run, walk or jog the 10K route
2: Run, walk or jog the 5K route, either as an individual or in pairs (to make the 10K)
3: Undertake 10K steps on the 18th – the 5K route will get you to about 7K steps
Please note that both the 5K and 10K route are slightly further than the advertised distance
This is a trail run and you are likely to get muddy. We strongly advise you to wear trail shoes to avoid slipping.
Please note, this is not a chip timed event.
Where does the money go?
Proceeds will be shared between several local causes.
We hope to cover running costs through sponsorship. This event is organised by the Carterton Fundraisers who give all their time voluntarily
What do I get for my efforts?
Other than muddy shoes and lots of smiles, every participant will receive a locally produced wooden medal.
What happens if I can’t make it or the event is cancelled?
If you are unable to make the event for any reason, you are welcome to transfer your entry to someone else or you do the event in your own time and we will deliver the medal to you. Refunds will not be available.
Should we have to cancel the event due to Covid, we will offer the event as a ‘virtual’ run, whereby you need to complete the distance in your own time. We will then deliver the medal to you.
If we have to cancel the event due to weather, as in heavy snow, we will endeavour to reschedule, and if this isn’t possible, offer the event as a virtual.
