About Farndon Rocks Band and Beer Festival
This is the second year for Farndon Rocks Music and Beer Festival and it promises to be bigger and better than last year.
The ticket price for Saturday (as well as the one for both days) includes a free drink so be sure to buy your tickets in advance as entry will be the same price for those who pay on the door - don’t miss out on a free drink! As last year, there is no charge for under 18’s but we will be applying a strict Challenge 25 policy, if you are lucky enough to look young be sure to bring ID. Wristbands will again be issued to ticket holders, no wristband, no alcohol!
Firstly, we are starting on Friday evening with music from Crowd Spongers, an acoustic duo, followed by Crossy - playing guitar based songs from the 70's to present day. Doors open at 7pm, music from 7.30pm.
Saturday starts at 3pm (doors open 2pm) with a mixture of popular music from Farndon & District Brass Band followed by Blozone with a mixture of Soul, Motown and Pop. After that we are very excited to have contemporary acoustic music from Charlie’s Trio who will be followed by Soulshine Collective bringing us Disco and Soul to dance the night away. Bringing the event to a close will be The Method, a local Rock and Indie band.
We are showcasing some excellent craft beer from Big Hand, Purple Moose, Salopian Brewery, Spitting Feathers, Peerless and Weetwood. Lager and cider drinkers will not be forgotten and the bar will be open providing a variety of wines, spirits and soft drinks.
Food will be available from Pizza Peddlers both Friday and Saturday and they will be joined on Saturday by Fully Loaded Grill providing burgers and fries, some tasty treats from Liberty Bakes – and ice cream, of course.
There will be a bouncy castle for the younger attendees &ndash, and Ste Cross' Circus Skills where you can learn juggling, plate spinning, hula hoop and more; all we need now is some sunshine!
