About Festa de São João | Forrobristol
Welcome to São João, Bristol's annual celebration marking the beginning of the Brazilian Winter.
Celebrate with us throughout June, day and night, with the sounds of accordion, triangle, and zabumbas echoing the Northeastern Brazilian traditions.
Festa de São João, also known as Festa Junina, honors St. John the Baptist with festivals across Brazil and Portugal in June, culminating around June 24th. In Brazil, it's a midwinter festival, thanking for the crops and celebrating rural life with traditional attire, food, games, and the lively quadrilha dance.
Join us for a day filled with kid-friendly activities, Forró Workshops, and an evening Forró Party featuring live bands.
Choose from various ticket options:
- Day party tickets (2-6pm, includes beginners Forró class and storytelling)
- Forró Party night (7-11.45pm)
- Party combo (Day party + Forró class + Forró Party night)
- Full pass (Includes all events: Day party, workshops, and Forró Party night)
Individual tickets for Forró Workshops will be available on the day if you haven't purchased a full pass.
