About A Bunch of Amateurs | Friday 29th November
Welcome to A Bunch of Amateurs!
Written by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman, “A Bunch of Amateurs” tells the story of washed up Hollywood “legend” Jefferson Steel who mistakenly thinks he has been booked to play King Lear in Stratford upon Avon only to find that he not in the birthplace of the Bard but in a sleepy Suffolk village performing with the local Am Dram group. The arrival of his daughter forces him to confront his inner Lear as his life falls into madness.
You will laugh, you might cry, but you will be thoroughly entertained by this hilarious production whether you're a seasoned theatregoer or a newcomer looking for a good time on a cold November evening.
So grab your friends, family, or even your neighbour’s cat, and come on down for a night you won't forget!
On second thoughts, don't bring the cat, they probably wouldn't enjoy it – but do bring the neighbours.
