Stewarton Drama Group present the hilarious comedy one-act play ‘The Devil His Due’ written by Seamus Fail and directed by Nancy McPherson.
The play is set in a Doctor’s surgery, deep in rural Ireland where, with the help of his Dispenser, Old Doctor Frowsty concocts cures for his ailing patients. These include the formidable Mrs O’Reilly and Mrs Rorke, the worldly-wise Father Higgins, the not-so-worldly-wise Father De Vecha, the part-time Policeman, and an intriguing Stranger. Add into this mix, the White Witch who has some interesting cures of her own, and you have a recipe for some dramatic happenings! And….the moral of the tale is …. BEWARE OF WHAT YOU WISH FOR!
All tickets priced at a flat rate of £5.00.
