About Wine, Women and Song

Join us for an evening of music celebrating women. Music in the program is either by female composers or is written about or for women to perform.

We are pleased to welcome local Soprano crossover singer Charlotte Potter to perform a selection of vocal numbers accompanied by the orchestra. Charlotte has recently graduated from the Guild Hall School of Music and Drama, and before that studied at Chetham’s School of Music. She was chosen to performed with Leslie Garrett and Chesterfield Philharmonic Choir. She was also one of a small SATB Choir that recorded of A Song for the Commonwealth that was released to celebrate the late Queens Platinum Jubilee. Charlotte is well known in the area for performing at events such as Proms in the Priory Guisborough and O2 City Hall, Newcastle.
