Tockwith & District Agricultural Show 2023

A true agricultural show with nearly 300 classes from Heavy Horses to Produce & Preserves and a programme of events to keep you entertained and busy all day including Gundog Demonstrations, Agricultural Turnout, Dog Dash and Classic Cars, Farmer’s Market and Trade Stands.

Our ‘theme’ this year? It’s the turn of the Pig and we will be putting together a fantastic display of rare breed pigs – one of the biggest show and judging displays in Yorkshire.

One of our main focuses for 2023 is to provide educational content to children which is FREE. We have teamed up with Enchantica to provide a new theatrical performance within the Children’s Discovery Zone. There will be crafting, demonstrations and the chance get your fingers green! Also watch out for the giant tortoises.

To keep you entertained elsewhere we will be welcoming into the main ring Farlavale Gun Dogs, Area 19 Side Saddle Display team, the Pony Club Games display and the ever popular Heavy Horses display.

Elsewhere around the show we will have the farriers, working crafts, Tailwaggers dog agility course, sheep, show jumping and the fur and feather marquee. We also encourage you to get creative and try and win one of our many prizes in the horticultural, produce, preserves or crafts sections.

Like most shows, we are dog friendly and they too can join in the fun with our dog scurry, dog dash, agility course and dog show classes. Many of our great trade supporters including our main show sponsor Discount Feeds will have many doggy treats up for grabs on the day. Please remember all dogs must be kept on leads throughout the day. So we hope you can join us for a fun, full-packed day of friendly competition, entertainment and shopping!
