When famous author Jack Cameron and his wife are drowned they are refused entry to heaven as Jack is a card-carrying atheist.
They return to haunt their country cottage where they lived, spooking any would be tenants.
Things change when they decide to allow a young couple Flic and Simon, an aspiring crime writer, to move in.
Plenty to laugh at as the ghosts help Simon, but continue to control events unbeknown to the couple, the tyrant of a mother-in-law and the estate agent.
Will Simon be a successful writer and will Flic and Jack ever get to heaven?
