RULES AND REGULATIONS

Entrants must be over 18 at the time of entry video submission.

Competitors across all gender identities and of any age, religion, race, sexuality and disability are welcome to apply. Entrants may contact us in advance about making adjustments on the day (or regarding the video round) regarding accommodations they may need for disability/health conditions.

There are 8 spaces for the final in each category. The top 3 will be placed at the final, along with the special award for Strippers Choice.

Applicants must make themselves aware of all You Filthy Floor Fucker terms and conditions prior to entry.

Judges decision is final.

Removal of clothing is not compulsory, all styles of sexy are welcome. You may go as far as topless and a thong/g string. Pasties are not compulsory. Heels are not compulsory.



CATEGORY RULES:

BEGINNER - For students only. No professional or performance experience. May have performed at (unpaid) showcases. Guideline of less than one years experience.

INTERMEDIATE - For Students only. May have performed at (unpaid) showcases, no professional experience. 1 year plus experience.

ADVANCED - For students only, enter here if you are capable of / would like to include more advanced tricks, balances and trick combos. May have performed at (unpaid) showcases, no professional experience

INSTRUCTOR - For those teaching floor/burlesque/dance classes. Showcase performances are permitted. No professional or guest performances or competitions above instructor level.

SEMI PRO - Minimal performance experience is acceptable here. ( Minimal performance experience means occasional guest performances, occasional stage shows as a stripper or burlesque dancer for example)

PROFESSIONAL - For anyone who is paid to perform regularly, you should also enter professional if you have competed in a national competition at pro level.

DOUBLES & GROUPS - Where 2 or more people wish to enter to compete together, please enter the group category.

Entrants thought to be performing in the incorrect category, will automatically incur a deduction of 10 points from the total score. Please make sure you enter the category that matches your skill level, i.e, advanced competitors should not enter intermediate.

This competition is open to everyone.

JUDGING CRITERIA

Judging

You must be available on the FINAL, the 16th August 2025. 6pm – 11:30.

Routine Length: Beginners 3 mins, Intermediate & Advanced 3:30,Instructor & Semi Pro 4, Pro & Groups, 4:30.

Scoring: 10 points are available in each section.

Flow: How did your routine link together, was it smooth and confidently delivered? Were transitions clean?

Stage Presence: Did you engage with the audience, do you show confidence, command attention? Did you use all of the stage and perform to the 360 degree audience.

Cohesion & Musicality: Does your work suit your song, is it fluid, clean, original? Are you using the highs, lows and accents of the music?

Tricks & Props: Are tricks well-chosen and well executed with clean entry and exit? When used, are props used well, do they add value to the routine. (Props are optional and won’t add or detract from your score, but if you do use them, you will be marked on how well, and what additional element they bring to your routine)

Provocation: Is the routine stripper style, sexy, sensual, dirty, raw, powerful, commanding? Are you committed and intentional with your movements?

Costume: Does your costume match your style, is it well fitted. There is no minimum costume requirement. (Please be aware when choosing your costumes, members of the audience are permitted to take photos.)

MUSIC:

Music. Offensive and discriminatory material must be avoided. When in doubt contact the organiser. The “N word” should be bleeped out in all instances, with the exception of music used by Black competitors. Swearing is permitted.

STAGING

The stage will be a raised stage, with a 360 degree audience and judges all the way around. There will be a minimum of 5 judges.

Confirmed judges are: Beanie The Jet, Alicia Domenica, Sedusa Swan & Anna Frost.

No refunds are available, the application fee covers the venue hire, DJ, Photographers travel fee and venue staff.
